Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished in the winter of 2003, the modern Tropicana Suites has a total of 93 guest rooms, including 74 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 19 apartments with two bedrooms, all of which are built over 11 floors, and set amidst a spacious Mediterranean style garden and sun terrace around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and magnifying mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, microwave oven and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, all apartments are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with waterfall for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Tropicana Suites are also welcome to use the leisure facilities at the nearby Hotel Magic Rock Gardens, which includes a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of the Magic Group high standards of customer care and management systems, the Tropicana Suites has been awarded the internationally renowned certification of ISO 9001:2000 Certificate for Quality, as well as the Qualitur Distinction awarded by the Valencian Agency of Tourism which is only granted to establishments which meet the highest standards of continuous improvement in all services.
