Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Avenida Apartments has a total of 71 guest rooms, including 53 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 18 with two bedrooms, all of which are built over 5 floors.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, microwave oven and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and most apartments also have a terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, all apartments are also provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels and bed linen twice a week.

Guests staying at the Avenida Apartments are welcome to use the facilities at the nearby Hotel Avenida, which includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests at the Hotel Avenida includes a large rooftop freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a cardiovascular gymnasium with Jacuzzi and sauna, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Avenida also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
