Built in 1974 and extensively refurbished in the winter of 2002, the modern Hotel Cimbel has a total of 146 guest rooms, including 121 standard twin rooms, 24 singles and a further Suite, which are built over 13 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, refrigerator, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Cimbel also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including both overhead and slide projectors.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
